4/30/2023 0 Comments Taylor cedar nylon![]() ![]() Not the greatest sound quality but you get the idea. ![]() it was recorded on a compact camera with the built-in microphone on the camera. I'm providing a Youtube clip of me playing the guitar. Set up for and always strung with D'Addario EJ44 extra hard tension, as Taylor recommends (yeah, I'll throw in an extra set)Ĭomes with the original hardshell case, in excellent condition Sides and back: Rosewood (mmm.look at that grain)īinding (body and neck): flamed maple (ooat that grain)Įxpression system pickup (the Taylor nylon ES is different than the steel string ES- it's designed specifically for the nylon string guitar) Grand auditorium body (20 in length 16 in width 4.625 in deep) no cutaway ![]() It is designed to be easy to play, and it certainly is. This is not a classical is a "crossover" guitar - that is, it has a narrower neck, slightly radiused fingerboard and lower action than you'd find on a classical guitar. I ordered it sans cutaway for the express hope of having a somewhat bigger acoustic sound. This was special ordered - the cedar top and non-cutaway are both items you don't usually find on a Taylor nylon. It has lived in the original hardshell case since I got it, always in a climate-controlled environment. No scratches.even behind the bridge where those strings sometimes slap against the top during string changes by the uninitiated. ![]()
